Got Ink? In todays generation the question has more or less evolved to, who doesn’t have a tattoo? Yes, it has been a colossal shift from days gone by where tattoos where really only found among bikers and prisoners. Anymore, people from all religions get tattoos for boundless reasons. Some may be religious or cultural, some may be for a lost love or a best friend, and some may just get them because they look good and it’s the trendy thing to do. Tattoos can be big or little; they can also be easily hidden or put for the world to see. That all just comes back to the specific individuals’ preference. Just like anything else, tattoos also have many pros and cons and are very controversial in todays society. To some, tattoos are individual statements showing something deeply personal to the world. A number of people also believe that tattoos are a great form of self expression, or even self improvement. Many don’t just see the body as just a body, they see it as kind of like a canvas, waiting to be painted and brought to life with unique design and various color. Also, the bright side to the permanency of a tattoo is that many get tattoos for cosmetic reasons such as, to cover up embarrassing and unwanted skin disorders, or scars that they don’t want anyone to see or know about, and people can even have things like eye liner, lip liner, or even their eyebrows tattooed.
