Our tour held at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, our guide discuss to us the rules and regulations of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. SHEET INSPECTION AREA was our second destinations were we saw many BSP staffs inspect lots of sheets of money. We also went to SIMULTAN AREA were paper money were being cut into its proper shape and size and next to the INTAGLIO AREA, were different security codes are printed in paper money. We also visited to the NUMBERING AREA were the letters and numbers were being design in the money so that it can also be a feature of money. The last area in making paper money was the FINISHING AREA were finalization of the paper money was conducted. After we finished our tour in the areas of making the paper money, we went next to the areas of making the coins. We just passed by to the GOLD REFINERY DISPLAY ROOM were the gold’s are being kept. As we continue walking we arrive to the MELTING/CASTING AREA were gold’s are being melt for the purpose of making Philippine coins. But when we were in that area, we just saw only the machines, no staffs working. Simply no work, because of lack of gold’s. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas had no reserved gold because mining troops doesn’t want to sell gold’s for the BSP for the rate of the tax increases. We go to STAMPING AREA.
