In 2013 everyone is talking about traffic laws, many people believe that extremely details traffic laws and the fines related to disobeying those laws will help make a new community safer. On the contrary, I believe that we should enforce the existing laws not make new ones. Some people think that we need more detailed laws to protect ourselves. In my opinion, adding details to existing laws is not productive. Right now we have so many laws, we don’t know them all. We have more law than we need. Why would we want to complicate existing laws? For example, if people only force on add laws, and they don’t care how many laws they can remember and use in their life, then laws become unnecessary tool for people. The other side feels the details are necessary to explain the laws. But that argument is false. Simple rules can be easier to remember. People have so many things that they need to remember. Why add more responsibility for our life? The more complicated laws there are, the more frustrated people there are. For example, Instead of three pages of law trying to explain how to cross the road safely why not use a simple sign that says “Don’t across in front of moving vehicles.” Some people consider that more detailed laws can make human being safer. On the contrary, if a community is carefully laid out and has good signage. People will instinctively drive more carefully. Sometimes has much good things are not good for us. We shouldn’t pay more attention on add more laws. Good signage can help people obey rules better. We don’t need more details laws to warn people how to drive on the road because the signage is the best guide for drivers. For example, even if a driver knows the laws, he also can not drive without sign. Because he should know a lot of information about the road which one he drives now. Good signage is more useful.
