Super heroes and their narratives play an interesting role in the their relationship to fandom, whether it be through films or books each story becomes different through fragmented circulation as McGee suggest of which I talked about earlier in this paper. These fragmented or as Jason Mittell suggest trans-mediated narratives add to the stories of these characters. (Mittell, 2015) Goes on to define trans-media storytelling as, “significantly expanding the scope of a television series (in this case comic book character) into an array of other media, from books to blogs, videogames to jigsaw puzzles. These will be semi-structured interviews that are guided by a format that that calls for general, open-ended, combined with more specific and directive questions. (Merrigan & Huston, p. 114, 2009) I believe that those are the best for these study because by creating open-ended questions will be able to use them more productively when eventually editing the film. I have created four interview questions for the expert interviewees and three for the non-experts (or fans.) The shop owners and or circulators of comics will be asked the following questions. Whereas the non-authoritative consumers will be asked questions that connect them to a specific comic book character and in what way that interaction happened.
• How are some of the ways customers connect with comic book characters?
• What percentage of fans read the comic books before watching the film?
• What percentage of customers read comic books after watching the film?
• How do you think films connect fans to these comic book characters?
However, that being said I would like to first give the participants a short survey that would initiate the discourse discussed through the interviewee. This will give participants an idea of the questions that they will be asked upon being interviewed, which will, thus, allow the participants
