Trauma Empowerment Model
Next, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model also known as TREM is an intervention that is also being implemented in substance abuse programs. TREM is intended to help women who have been exposed to severe traumatic throughout their lifespan. This intervention provides a thorough bio-psychosocial structure that addresses female clients’ specific needs (Grant, 2011, p. 4). Equivalent to previous sentence, BWOM accepts six to eight women, due to the fact that women clients require specific needs that are a greater different from male clients particular needs.     Judith Herman, offers an effective model for treatment of those exposed to trauma and is often used as a foundation for many interventions.
