Traveling through the dark is a story about a driver who is faced with a tough decision on one quiet and dark night. After the driver gets of the car, he observes the dead deer on the road revealing that the deer was a doe. Realizing that there is nothing he can do for the doe; the driver begins to remove the unfortunate animal from the road. However, as the driver touches the doe’s side he comes to a realization that doe is pregnant and her fawn is possibly alive. The character then stands in the side of the road thinking of the what choice to make. As time passes the driver comes to a decision to let the fawn die along with the mother.
