Nowadays in our country tuberculosis became one of the most widespread diseases. Tuberculosis belongs to group of socially significant diseases and it is the important medico-social problem, causing considerable material loss because of disability and premature death of the most productive population. Deterioration of an ecological situation, migratory processes, and decrease in a standard of living of the population, insufficient financing of health care including anti-tubercular actions, led to considerable deterioration of an epidemiological situation. According to statistical data of the World Health Organization (WHO) epidemic of a disease is considered tuberculosis 50 cases on 100 thousand populations. In the Republic of Kazakhstan the quantity of the registered cases of tuberculosis exceeds in recent years an epidemiological indicator by 2-3 times. On an incidence of tuberculosis the Republic of Kazakhstan holds leading position among CIS countries and Europe. Besides, growth of incidence by tuberculosis among teenage part of the population is observed. From 100 thousand teenagers tuberculosis is found in 126 people. It should be noted that annually in the republic is registered 23 thousand new patients with tuberculosis with an open form of a disease. Most tuberculosis is diagnosed among persons of able-bodied age from 18 to 54 years, and more than a half is made by patients more young than 34 years. There are many causes which lead to nowadays big health and socially significant problem in Kazakhstan as tuberculosis.
The first and immediate cause of high incidence of tuberculosis in our country is the poor quality of life. For example, during war as the standard of living decreased, people often got sick with an illness because at the front they had not time to watch over the health. Soldiers were at war on cold, they were hungry, and it reduced their immunity and their organism easily caught a cold.
