INTRODUCTION
Tuberculosis, a preventative and curable disease remain the main cause of human sufferings and deaths through infection worldwide, with around 8.7 million new cases of tuberculosis recorded in 2011 globally, and since the World Health Organization declare it as a global emergency. Namibia has been recorded as one among countries with the highest Tuberculosis incidence worldwide. Though preventative and curable disease, Namibia is still far from reaching the global targets set by the World Health Organization for global tuberculosis which are; a case detection rate of 70% and treatment success of 87%.
