Many people saw Tupac as someone they should look up too, because he fought for people who got no attention in the media. For example he also spoke to people through his music. In his own words when “When you listen to my music, all my songs have a message. “All my songs are with purpose”. Tupac should be worthy of admiration because he tried to help those in need of help through his music. He had messages in his songs for people who struggled with racism, respect for females and inequality,
Many of Tupac’s songs through out his career were messages for people 2 stand up and go against racism, inequality toward women, and police brutality. For example in “changes”, Tupac raps about how life was for a black individuals in the ghetto with the quote, “Cops give a damn about a negro, pull the trigga kill a nigga he’s a hero” this indicates that when a police officer shoots a black man he isn’t tried or convicted, instead he is rewarded for his unjust actions. he also adds” we gotta start making changes learn to see me as a brother instead of two distant strangers” this explains that if we want to defeat racism ,we must all come together and consider everyone as a loved one instead of strangers we don’t care for. He has also influenced people through one on one interviews, “I might just be my mother’s child, but in all reality I’m everybody’s child. Nobody raised us; we were raised by society.” he’s explaining that if society see’s blacks as evil and criminals they have no one to blame but themselves because they refused to give them a helping hand, they refuse to listen to their call for help and now there’re demand these things and society has no one to blame but themselves.
Besides having messages in his own song about racism, Tupac inspired people because of how he spoke about females in his song. Songs like” Brenda has a baby “and ”Keep Ya Head Up”. Brenda’s got a baby reached out to the community
