Evidence: According to the BBC world service poll of 2013, 4% of South Koreans view North Korea’s influence to be positive while 90% viewed its influence to be negative. The tension between North and South Korea never ceased fire after the Korean War. The North Korean tries to physically damage South Korea, while the South Koreans tries to strike back diplomatically and financially. For example, in 2010 of March 26, a North Korean torpedo sank a South Korean naval vessel. Out of 104 sailors, 46 died and 58 were rescued. Afterwards, president Lee Mango-Bak of South Korea decided to cut all trades with North Korea to hurt them economically. North Korea have also attempted to bomb some of Korea’s island, kidnap south Korean officials, and droning South Korea. Currently, North Korea has a 900,000 strong army with terrifying chemical arsenals. Information regarding North Korea is rarely transparent and outsiders are unsure whether Korea is planning to attack South Korea. However, since there is no peace treaty between North and South Korea, thus the tension between the two countries can easily escalate into a war. The conflict between the two countries could have been avoided though, if the nuclear weapons were to be dropped in the Korea war. The bombs would have allowed the U.S force to successfully defeat the North Korean army. Hence, the whole of Korea would have been united under the same
