Types of teachers A good teacher monitors the students and is aware of difficulties the student is having and encourages the student to see him/her out of the class as well if they need help. Unlike the good teachers, the neutral teachers are not very caring. A neutral teacher knows his subject matter, but like the bad teachers, does not put much effort to teach the same information in many different ways in order to assure student understanding. However, the neutral teacher allows for questions and some discussion, but he just does not seem to care if students are interested enough to want to discuss the subject. Even though the neutral teacher is available for conferences, he does not encourage students to come see him for help; as a result, very few students go to see her for a conference because they think she is simply not interested. Ex-Factor Teacher is the last category of teachers. Students call them unusual teachers. As the term suggests they are very unpredictable. Every teacher should have some friendly traits in him/her, but this particular teacher is more close to students when he/she is in a good mood. If things go wrong for them, they seem almost hostile both in class and out of class. This type of teacher, sometimes, complains of not being taken seriously by their students. They do not realize that the arrogance they posses at certain moments is very discomforting for the students, which makes them skip the classes causing harms to their studies and affecting their performance in the respective subject. Even if such a teacher has good intentions, the students fail to understand and appreciate them, because of their unpredictable actions.
