Louie was a thief throughout his entire life. One reason is “If it was edible, louie stole it. Housewives who stepped from their kitchens returned to find their suppers gone.” (8) He steals a lot of things and that means he is a thief. Another reason is “Residents looking out their windows saw a long-legged boy dashing by, a stolen cake balanced on his hands.” (8) He has been stealing things ever since he was little.
