There is a big difference in the tools used by these two careers. Anesthesiologists use Electronic Blood Pressure Units, Esophageal Tubes, Surgeon Gloves, and etc(Anesthesiologists”). Morticians use Autopsy supplies, Embalming supplies, makeup kits, airbrush kits, body bags, hair care kits, manicure implements, and etc(“Morticians, Undertakers, and Funeral Directors”). There are some similarities between the technology used by these two careers. An Anesthesiologist- uses AetherPal InfusiCalc, Medical Calculator Software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and etc(“Anesthesiologists”). Anesthesiologists are required to: critical think, verbally communicate, have Math and Science skills, be a leader, design and control technology, and etc(MyFuture). A Mortician is required to: have Math and Science skills, operate, maintain, and fix equipment, problem solve, critical think, and etc(MyFuture). Overall, they both have similar skills needed but being an Anesthesiologist requires more communication skills since you work around more
