1. what are the qualities associated with HR that help an organizzation gain a sustainable competitive advantage? sustainability of the resources, of the labor force. HR is also associated to the issues of strategic management.

2. distinguish between training and development employees
Training is a planned effort to help employees to learn about skills and behavior that are related to their job while development is the knowledge and skills acquired by employees that improve their ability to adapt to changes in their job requirements or demands by customers. Training and development help employees to be prepared for the long-term activities of the company.

3.describe the terms HR planning and evidence-based HR. How do these concepts help HR in supporting the org strategy?
HR planning is identifying the numbers and types of employees an organization requires to meet its goals.
Evidence based-HR is the process of collecting and using data to show that HR has a positive impact on the company's goals an stakeholders.
These concepts help supporting the organization strategy in a sense that skilled HR can apply their knowledge about human behavior and use management tools to adapt to change in the long run.

4. Discuss the hR responsibilities of supervisors
Supervisors have a lot of responsibilities regarding HR which include defining jobs,interviewing and selecting candidates, and training them. Moreover, they are also responsible for motivating employees with different forms of rewards such as pay or benefits. Finally, supervisors are also the ones that appraise performance, recommend pay increases and promotion as well as communicate the company's policies.
