Describe the recruitment documentation used in a selected organization that you have been studying.
Recruitment documentation basically means filling information and personal details about the vacancy that the person is applying for. Recruitment documentation consists of all the copies of application forms and supporting documents, and notes from all the panel members as well as regarding that the person is aware of the vacancy that they are applying for. When applying for a job there is normally also a personal specification. A personal specification is to extend the job analysis, it is a profile of the candidate required for the work and is submitted with the job. An example of a recruitment document can be found in appendix 1. When applying for a job not all employers produce a personal specification and instead opt for just a job description within a personal specification
Personal specifications are used to help the businesses to decide who they want on the short list to proceed forward to either presentation/test and interview stages. The person specification should also be used to write your advertisement for the position. The business I will be looking into their recruitment documentation is the clothing line Next, when applying for a job within Next they advertise any available position they have whether it being within management or recruitment and where it is located. They then expect you to then apply for the desired job that suits the candidate best based on the personal specification. Rather than taking in a CV they opt for taking all the important details for the candidate and then a questionnaire is then required to be completed to see if the candidate I suited for a position within the company Next.
