Describe the main employability, personal and communication skills required when applying for a specific job role.

Employability Skills
• Specific Job Role: Deputy Head Teacher for Thomas More Catholic School
Employability skills can be defined as the transferable skills needed by an individual to make them employable, along with good technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set of skill that they want from an employee. They are the skills and attitudes that enable employees to get along with their colleagues, to make critical decisions, solve problems, develop respect and ultimately become strong ambassadors for the organisation
Essential skills required for this specific job role are –excellent communication skills; excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; experience in raising standards; aspirations to the post of Head teacher within the next five years.

Employability Skills

Personal and communication Skills
Interpersonal skills are the life skills we use every day to communicate and interact with other people, both individually and in groups. People who have worked on developing strong interpersonal skills are usually more successful in both their professional and personal lives.
The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of people, maintain good eye contact, write clearly and succinctly demonstrate a varied vocabulary and tailor your language to your audience are all essential skills that employers seek out.

Personal Skills
Personal skills are those concerned with how people manage and express themselves.
They are revealed in those attitudes and behaviours
