2.1
A child may be born with impairments such as sight or hearing difficulty. These impairments will have a great impact on a child’s life. If a child is unable to see they may not have had the opportunity to join in with physical activities such as running or football, therefore they may be lacking in this area. If a child is deaf they may not be able to communicate accurately to other people so may have little social skills.
Learning difficulties are also a factor that influences a child’s development. Children with learning difficulties will need extra support with certain areas of development and may develop low self esteem because they get annoyed with themselves for not being able to do something such as simple numeracy problems or just reading a book.
2.2

This can affect their ability to relate to others and evidence attachment problems/disorder. This can lead onto communication difficulties which involve showing emotions aggressively or inappropriately causing withdrawal and isolation.
Education is a right that every child is intittled to under the UNCRC. The opportunities education provides are ways a child or young person can see will help them to achieve success and prosperity in their lives. Enabling solutions to be seen for when problems arise. Parent’s education and their feelings towards education impact on how a child may see the educational system. This cultural factor affects the child’s attitude to learning in particular settings, how they undertake homework and handle expectations a school environment may place on them. Families may not mean to pass their views onto a child such as expectations or even negative views on how a school may be wrong or a waste of time but when a child is brought up around these situations

The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 allow companies and organisations to be guilty of these offences where serious managerial failures result in gross breach of a duty of care. This Act created a new offence of corporate manslaughter to apply to companies, government departments, police forces etc. However, before this Act was introduced, a corporation could only be convicted of manslaughter if a single employee of the company committed all the fundamentals of the offence and was considered ‘senior’ enough to be seen as exemplifying the "mind" or ‘brain’ of the corporation. Due to these limitations, convictions were rare and it was felt that corporations had escaped punishment.…

This court deals with mainly criminal cases but rarely civil cases. All criminal cases start off in the Magistrates’ Court and are heard by either lay magistrates or district judges. District judges are legally trained but lay magistrates are not, they do however have to be assisted by a legally trained clerk. Magistrate Courts will only hear cases that have happened in their area and can only administer punishment of up to £5,000 or 6 months imprisonment. If the crime requires more than what the magistrate can administer than the case will be passed on to the Crown Court. Jury can also move up the case to the Crown Court if the defendant asks for trial.…

They may also need to have one-to-one lessons at school to help educate them as they may not be at the same cognitive stage as peers. This may leave them feeling left out, however, some children may have a learning disability that is severe enough for them not to realise they are different.…
