Unit 4 Assignment 1: HIPPA Privacy In all of the research I did, the employer can’t get your medical information from your doctor without your consent. HIPPPA only applies to medical records, that a doctor’s office has (Workplace Fairness, N. D.). To be able to file a complaint on HIPPA violations, the people on which you are filling the complaint must be required to follow HIPPA.
