In this task I will be speaking about different types of media and some advantages and disadvantages for them. I will be choosing a national campaign and I will speak about the media types they used and how effective they were for the business.

This is because people like to use phonebooks to find people or business close to them so that it is easier for them to reach out to who they are trying to find. It is mostly used in a local and regional exposure as people mainly use it to find people and business nearby.
Some advantages of phonebook advertising include the following:
-One advantage of phonebook advertising is that all the ads are highlighted. Phonebooks target people who are ready to buy. They have specific categories and headings where someone can place an ad. A business can place an advertisement in more than one category if it is coming under more than one classification. An example of this is that a beauty salon can come under ‘Beauty Salons’ and ‘Hair Care’.
-Another advantage is that telephone books are available to shoppers 24/7. This is beneficial to an advertiser when households use their phonebooks a lot. Most people store their phonebooks in drawers or cabinets near their telephones so that they can reference it if they need to.
