The current economy has many companies struggling to stay afloat. Companies are looking for a competitive edge over their competitors. The new age of technology has given businesses an opportunity to expand through the World Wide Web. On-Line advertising is an affordable option for any business owner and offers a multitude of options. Mom and Pop business now have the opportunity to advertise without reaching deep into their pockets. In recent years, attention has been drawn to children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Services that were not offered in the past are now being mandated due to healthcare reform. The health care industry has an influx of consumers that require specialty services. One specialty service that has an increase in demand is speech therapy, which is now experiencing a shortage of Speech Language Pathologists.

Projected rate of change in employment for the 10-year timeframe. (The average growth rate for all occupations is 14 percent).
Job Outlook Employment is expected to grow by 23 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Speech-Language)

Little Voices is an independent speech language provider, who opened its doors in May of 2012. They are located in Long Beach, California. There are three other providers in the area, Stepping Stones for Speech Language, Long Beach Speech and Speech Bananas.
All four of the speech providers use different methods to advertise on the internet. The types of advertising vary from an on-line phone directory, individual websites and Facebook. When any business considers the internet as a source of advertising they need to have a budget and focus on what audience they are trying to reach.
