The reason why I love physics is that it covers almost everything around us and everything we see and feel, as Dan Brown has said, "The laws of physics is the canvas God laid down on which to paint His Masterpiece". Although I am mainly interested in Classical …show more content…
Only nine students were shortlisted out of the two hundred who applied for the internship at Mr. Raja Sabri's company Integrated Dynamics. I was one of those nine students. We were supposed to make an Unmanned Marine Vehicle. We were guided through the project by Mr. Raja Sabri who is a MIT drone maker. All of us were given different tasks and my task was to build an efficient propulsion system and a battery management system for the boat. The propulsion system consisted of two brushless dc motors with propellers connected to them and these motors were connected to the telemetry system that contained a 2.4 GHz receiver which received signals from the radio system (transmitter) on shore, the speed was controlled by changing the input voltages using the radio, the receiver was also connected to some servos that help change the direction of the UMV. It took us three months to build the UMV after which we tested it and the results were reliable. The basic purpose of our UMV was to provide means to collect water samples to be tested for traces of chemicals, pathogens and even carcinogens that may be developing in water bodies because of industrial or agricultural refuge before it is used as source of a drinking …show more content…
I am a part of the Honor Society at my school. I love Peer Tutoring as it is the best way one can help his friends. It helped me realize that teaching is one of the greatest feelings of the world, it shapes one's perspectives and opinions. The two subjects that I taught are Math and Physics. Math is one of my most favorite subjects and my immense love for math can be summarized into these words of Rabindranath “It is the magic of Mathematics, this rhythm which is in the heart of all creation, which moves in the atom and in its different measures fashions gold and lead, the rose and the thorn, the sun and the planets, the variety and vicissitudes of history". The peer tutoring didn’t only enhance my views on the topic that I taught, but it also helps me to think more about the topic and hence improved my reasoning skills.
