There are many arguments against vaccinating, but three of the main causes for not vaccinating a child are religious beliefs, the fear of autism, and the side effects vaccines can cause; however, the effects are horrendous, the loss of herd immunity, risk of outbreaks, cost to the patient’s family and taxpayers to fight a preventable disease, and tragic unnecessary death. There have been many cases of babies who have gotten whooping cough, rubella, and other diseases, which they caught from another child at daycare, because the child’s parents did not vaccinate them. Many babies have died from this because they were too young to receive the vaccination. Lack of vaccination can have very deadly consequences. There are several solutions to helping parents get their kids vaccinated. These solutions are making all vaccines mandatory, educating parents on vaccines, help parents, doctors, and schools, keep an accurate recording of vaccination
