GEOGRAPHY
Vietnam is located in Southeast Asia. It borders the gulf of Tonkin, the gulf of Thailand, and the
South China sea. It is next to Laos, Cambodia, and China. The narrowest part of Vietnam is around
50 kilometers wide (31 miles). The whole length of Vietnam is 1,650 kilometers (1,025 miles). Vietnam has a very humid subtropical climate, and in addition, the average humidity in Vietnam is around 84% throughout the whole entire year. Vietnam is located in a temperate and tropical zone of Asia. It is characterized by monsoon influences, but it gets a reasonable amount of sun, a high rate of rainfall, and it has a high humidity.
For example, places located near the mountain and tropic regions are established with a temperate climate. The average temperatures are 22 degrees celsius (71 degrees fahrenheit) to 27 degrees celsius (80 degrees fahrenheit). There are two recognizable seasons in Vietnam. The colder season happens from November to April. The hotter season happens from May to October. The different temperatures in the seasons are very similar in Southern Vietnam, but still noticeable. The difference in temperature is about 3 degrees celsius (37 degrees fahrenheit). The most noticeable changes are found in northern provinces where differences of 12 celsius (53 degrees fahrenheit) have been discovered. There are four unmistakable seasons, which are the most noticeable in the northern provinces.
HISTORY
In the 1960s and 1970s, the Vietnam war was fought between the north and the south parts of
