Our family, along with the majority of our cousins, were all driving to Florida. We packed our bags the night before, and got as much sleep as we could before waking up early in the morning.
Our stops were planned; routes were plotted out and hotels marked on digital maps. My uncle rented out a large SUV for all of us to drive in, and so began our journey. We had clothing for a week’s vacation, and had packed food to last as long as possible. We set off, planning to drive through the states of the south-eastern border of America to get there, stopping along the way in each state for some pictures and such.
As we drove, we spent many hours playing car games or wasted time on our mobile devices, taking pictures of each other, and seeing who could stay awake the longest. We often slept through the trips, drifting in and out of consciousness. The time spent not sleeping was mostly catching up on recent events that happened in our lives, such as gossip or the daily Asian news, or viewing the landscapes, most of which was either bare agrarian land or endless miles of roads, weaving in and out like a spider’s web.

We visited locations such as aquariums and museums along the way, and while it wasn’t the first time any of us had seen it before, still it was a nice sight to see after hours of plain dirt and grass. Of course, throughout the trip, there were a few bits of argument on whether or not we should stop or press forward, but we all made it in one piece. My trip is similar to the Watson’s, although while it may have had its differences, it was relatable in many ways. To start off, in both events, we both drove to our locations to save
