Violent video games cause behavior problems
Do violent games cause behavior problems? Violent computer games have long been popular with teenagers, and with the improvement in technology, many violent games have become more realistic. Violent games encourage people to commit violent acts. It is true that violent video game cause several behavior problems. Violent games can have a positive role in a teen's behavior. This article highlights the pros and cons of violent video games causing numerous behavior problems.
It is a fact that violent video games especially those games which come in 3D cause uncountable behavior problems. Excessive violent gaming can become a serious problem because teenagers can develop antisocial behavior and become disconnected from reality. Violent videogames have been blamed for school shootings, increases in bullying and violence towards women. Some games for instance, “grand theft auto” make adolescence believe that these violent acts should be done to become famous and popular among others. Overexposure to violent images found in computer games can lead to the view that violence is a normal way of life. Nowadays parents are too busy to look after their children. They provide video games to their children without checking whether it is appropriate for them. Researchers are studying the effects of violent video games on a person's behavior in order to see how true these allegations are. So far the researches have shown that playing a violent video game increases aggressive behavior, and also makes people numb to the pain and suffering of others.
With the improvement in technology violent games these days comes with full high definition images so the people who play these games feel that its real and more over now a days game world has been so much improved that they have created new ways of playing game by making the player to use their full control to play these games. That is by using special goggles, gloves, and other equipment’s

These video games are mainly designed and distributed from countries such as USA, Canada and Japan. Parents and researchers have suggested that some of the games are far too violent and they have already begun to claim that the government should regulate the sale of these games in order to protect the children. However, results produced by many researchers produce otherwise. Moreover, the forceful plan by the government is a reaction to an exaggeration of the effects violent video games and these controversies are unfounded. For over the decades ever since 1994, starting with ‘Mortal Combat’ to ‘Night Trap’, the community has become concerned with the depth of physical conflict and gore visualized on these games. This has drastically led the industries to have their own rating classification as ‘ESRB’- Entertainment Software Rating Board. The realistic graphics of upcoming modern games have only helped the anti-gamers to defend their arguments. Games are played by people of all ages and sexes but the vast majority of “gamers” are teenage boys. This is worry some considering they are attracted to action games with bloodshed, violence and explicit content. In Grand Theft Auto, a best seller, the players sell drugs on the streets while shooting at gangs and buying prostitutes, what we in America consider violent behavior.
