Our Lady of Guadalupe: In legend of Nuestra Se?ora de Guadalupe and in Catholicism we would say Virgin Mary. Our Lady Guadalupe is definitely a part of Raza race history. The Virgin of Guadalupe is literally intertwined with both the History of the Catholic Church in the new world and of Mexico itself. To mention a few events, the great floods of 1629 claimed 30,000 lives and threatened the destruction of the valley of Mexico, until the waters abated when the image was taken in solemn procession from Tepayac to Mexico City. I would depict she is definitely the Mother of America?.while I was exploring my neighborhood where her image/legend is presented, in every catholic church as well as stores in savannah, down town museums, paintings some daycares centers, Hispanic groceries stores and pictures hanging inside of the taxi drivers cabs/taxi I could go on and on she is truly well respected in this
