Virginia Union Reflection Paper

Virginia Union University is where I am currently enrolled as a Biology major. The semester spent at Virginia Union has taught me crucial information at my own expense. My experiences are plagiarism,undermotivated students as well as professors, and too much debt. I have discovered that my financial aid was not meeting my needs, and as a result I am expected to pay elven thousands dollars for my freshman year. I expressed these concerns to my well educated family member who also is very familiar with the education system on the collegiate level. My family member didn't understand based on my family income to why schools like University of Richmond wouldn't offer me more aid, but she later realized that the Free Application for Student Aid(FASA)
was done incorrectly. The FASA was correctly amended with hopes for a better financial aid as well as an education. This new insight lead me back to the University of Richmond admission’s pool. Richmond has countless advantages that tower Virginia Union and one is it's a Liberal Arts school. As a future physician I want to well rounded as I could possibly be in every discipline offered. I also know that I will be in a socially diverse environment, which can lead to wealth of opportunities for persons like me who have interest in medical profession. I am dyslexic students that learns best in smaller environments and I know the student to teacher ration is 8:1. I understand to be that Richmond meets all of need based financial aid for its students. I know that University of Richmond will be a dramatic change from Virginia Union University, however I know that I am a hardworking individual that will be successful on these grounds.
