Virtualization is creating a virtual version of something, rather than an actual version of
something, including hardware, operating system, storage devices, and network recources, just to name
a few. When it comes to software virtualization, there are several different kinds, who preform different task. Personally, I would reccomend symantec workspace virtualization 6.1, which can be obtained by visiting http://symantec.com/business/workspace-virtualization. It works so well By placing applications and data into managed units called Virtual Software Layers, Workspace Virtualization lets you instantly activate, deactivate, or reset applications and to help resolve conflicts between applications without altering the base Windows installation. Symantec 's application virtualization technologies seamlessly integrate virtualized applications to preserve the user experience. Virtualized applications act like normal applications, ensuring normal behavior and full functionality. Workspace Virtualization eliminates application conflicts, testing requirements, and support calls. Workspace Virtualization helps IT organizations improve management and control over endpoints to reduce the total cost of ownership of laptops and desktops. The installation process goes like so, Run the 32- or 64-bit version of Symantec_Workspace_Virtualization.exe. The version you select must match the endpoint architecture. The 32-bit version cannot be installed on a 64-bit operating system. Enter the product key, and then click Next. On the Select Features page, select any optional components you want to install: This option installs the SWV Admin tool.
