Question-
“ A deep exploration of the concept of Belonging awakens new possibilities and paradigms”(after closely examining and studying about belonging new possibilities open up to ignorant minds about belonging.
The absence of any sense of belonging can generate physical, emotional and psychological illness as well as feelings of alienation, disaffection, or a link with community or place.
An individual’s paradigm is successfully awakened through the process of belonging that will open up greater possibilities and experiences. . From this experience some Individuals disconnect to this paradigm and result in physical, emotional and psychological illness as well as feelings of alienation, and disaffection. Nonetheless as an outcome only the individual can choose whether or not she/he will feel compatible to that sense of paradigm based on her/ his value systems and this will in turn shape a sense of self. This is evident throughout my l Representatio where an individual is centered as salient imge to symbolise her sense of choice by intentioanlly alienating her self fromt the society due to her past experience and knowedge of belonging.It also symbolises that eventhough she/he chooses to alienate from the society she/ he believes that it maintains more of a unique identity and can be exciting, novel and even rebellious at times which ultimately shapes an individuals identity.
Throughout my visual Represenation i have utilized an individual to show the mixed gender type through the use of a feminist red lips and the black coat symbolising the idea of masculinism. The use of representing the two gender is to embody the idea that regardless of gender type an individual chooses wether or not he/she belongs to society after encountering the concept of belonging , this indivdual chose to alienate from the contemporaries as she/he personally beleives belonging to the society isn't a compatible ideology for she ultimately fears there
