General statement of the problems to be discussed I. 50 years ago no one thought about or spoke about what we all know TODAY recognize as the dangers of a diet high in saturated fat, high in cholesterol, high in sugar, and high in simple carbohydrates. Had we known that 50 years ago, we would be much heathier today. First major problem A. Today we are learning that there are other things in our diets, or not in our diets, that are just as important, if not more important, than eating foods low in cholesterol, saturated fat and sugar.
