Walt Disney Informative Speech
Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Disney took this idea of his and made it real when he opened Walt Disney World in 1971. Disney is called the most magical place on earth because of the amount of imagination and magic that happens there every day. Walt Disney World is a fanciful place filled with princesses, mice, castles, fireworks, sword fights, music, and imagination. Imagination is a very powerful tool, not just for kids, but for all humans. Imagination makes it possible for us to see a whole world inside our mind. Disney takes our fantasy world and makes it real. All children have a fantasy that they are princesses or knights or princes, and at Disney they become the imagined character they want to be. Disney takes the unreal and makes it real. People go to Disney to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing imagination come to life through characters, attractions, and magic at Walt Disney World. Some rides are for younger kids, like the spinning Tea Cups at the Magic Kingdom, and other rides are real roller coasters, like the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. Disney has attractions for all ages to enjoy the thrill of going on rides. When I was fourteen, I went on Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom, and it was my first time riding an intense roller coaster in six years. I had a panic attack on the ride because I was petrified, but the moment I got off, my adrenaline took over and I wanted to ride again. Roller coasters are intense, but the thrill is worth the

Disney was founded on Walt’s ability to create and innovate new characters. Disney offered an experience that was aimed at the family instead of just children. This translated to their theme park because Walt wanted to create a theme park that the whole family could enjoy (including the dad) and have the experience be innovative and exciting. Disney continues to operate in a way that appeals to more than just the child audience in all their business ventures. Walt’s vision is still evident throughout Disney and will continue to stand as a guide as they continue to pave their future.…

It's the happiest place on earth and has every attraction imaginable from rides and water parks to dining and shopping. Where am I talking about? Disney world of course! According to Walt Disney World Media Relations, Disney World is the number one vacation spot in the entire world and attracts people of all different ages and cultures. I have personally been to Disney World well over twenty times, which is not always a good thing, especially when you are being forced to go with your family and miss spring break at the beach with your friends! However, I do have to admit that even on that particular trip, which I pleaded desperately not to go on, my family and I had a wonderful time together. Disney World is a wonderful…

Six months ago, corporate daycare facilities were cleaning out my bank account. I was losing the ability to pay for gas, rent and my utilities because all my money was going towards my son’s weekly daycare tuition. My parents could help me scrap on by here and there but that wasn’t there responsibly. It was then that my mother suggested that I should look into putting my son into a local licensed in home daycare facility opposed to a major corporate daycare facility. I was a little skeptical at first, but I was willing to look into a facility that could possibly save me a lot of money. I’m not an expert on daycare facilities but with my experience of working for a franchised facility and being a single mother and college student on a budget, it has given me the knowledge to advise others. For the purpose of my speech, I want to inform my audience on the different types of daycare facilities, the tuition and what to look for in choosing a facility.…

I absolutely had to use a photo of Princess Diana because I was a huge fan of hers. I remember watching her wedding on television when I was a young child, and I cried like a baby when she met her untimely demise. I don't recall every crying like that when a celebrity died, but she was my heroine and I loved her! Since then I've kept up with the ins and outs of the Royal Family and the shenanigans of Prince Harry, my now favorite Prince. He is a Princess Diana reincarnated in the male form. Lives by his own rules and with not a care in the world. Madison and I were able to visit the Madame Tussauds London museum while on our trip to London just recently, thanks to the kind folks of Merlin Entertainment. Since this is most likely the only way we'll ever get to the meet the Royal Family we just had to do it. Now if you're thinking all wax museums are the same, well Madame Tussauds London is on a whole new level of awesome. I've…

When we think Disneyland, we think the happiest place on earth. For those who think this is an exaggeration, let me shed some light on why this place is magical for me. Disneyland to me means family traditions with a heart full of happiness and love. When you first enter Disneyland, you are overcome with a vast amount of emotions. I get a nervous feeling deep inside my gut. The excitement overwhelms me, knowing that in just a few small steps, I will see the castle at the end of Main Street. The smell of churros are in the air. The crowds are filled with children and parents. You can hear children’s laughter and excitement. And if you look closely, you can see Mickey and friends in the corner signing autographs and taking pictures. I close my…

There is most likely no one in this country that has not heard of Disneyland, Disneyworld, or even Mickey Mouse. They are too popular to not know. Walt Disney had an idea of what the people wanted so he decided that he was going to make them come true because “all our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” (Disney)(“Walter Elias Disney”). Walter Disney wanted to leave an impression on the world that all things are possible. He took the dreams of Americans and made them come true, and to this day, Disney has inspired many and even gave them something to smile about (“Walt Disney: Long Biography”). Disney had many ways of making his audience want more by coming up with films, animations, comic strips, documentaries, songs, and theme parks (“Disney’s Vision for America”). To this day, people still continue to enjoy his works of…
