Rumors can do a lot of damage such as what happened with Chris Dussold. This man lost his job because of a rumor about him. People thought that he was having an inappropriate relationship with one of the students. He was made to clean his office out in front of the campus police. This rumor cost this man his job and it publicly humiliated him. If someone would have asked him about the situation before making accusations about him; he may have not lost his dream
