Health Essay

You can balance your natural desire to pursue sexual fulfillment while being responsible in many ways. When you are having sex, always use a condom so you can prevent disease transmission and pregnancy. Some diseases that can be spread when you don’t use a condom are aids/HIV, gonorrhea, syphilis etc. If you don’t want to get pregnant or get your partner pregnant just use a condom, it is a very easy thing to do. Also another way to prevent it is for the female to use/be on birth control. To deal with parental concerns, you could either just not tell your parents and do it in a bad environment or ask your parent’s permission to do it in the house in a safe environment. For personal ethics, if you are a certain religion and it is against your religion to have sex you will just have to deal with it, there is not really another way to address this concern. By having sex with your boyfriend or girlfriend, things could either get better or worse. It can better because it can bring both of you closer together, but it can get worse by leading to a break up or even worse physical abuse in some cases. Some other struggles you will have to deal with regarding sexuality are sexual abuse and romantic relationships while in high school. Sexual abuse is a struggle because it happens every day. For example rape, rapes happen every day and are a very bad thing for the victim. They are forced to have sex whether it’s orally, anally, or in the vagina. I think this is a very big issue that a lot of people have to deal with. Romantic relationships in high school are an issue because your boyfriend or girlfriend might threaten you to have sex with them by saying, if you don’t have sex with me I am going to break up with you. These are some struggles regarding sexuality.

1 Leaving a parent for the first time - as a baby, as a toddler going to nursery and the most obvious when the child starts school. For some it could be going into foster care and being separated from their main carers, especially if the child has been moved around quite a lot. For these children, trusting adults and managing the very strong emotions transitions and change will bring can be very difficult. Some children and young people will find it almost impossible to ask for help when faced with difficulties while others may cope with underlying anxieties by demanding to be the centre of attention, others by just being shy or resentful. Even children who appear to be coping well can be thrown off-course by transitions and changes. This is why developing strategies, both as individual staff and as whole schools, increases the capacity of all children to cope with transitions, giving them both the positive experience of managing change and belief in their skills to overcome these severe, and painful, circumstances.…

High school is either the best days of your life or four years of struggling and mild torture for teens, and the pressure to be sexually active can push adolescents towards the latter. The idea that sexual activity is the ticket to popularity is burned into teens brains by the media, through television, major label music, and movies, their peers, and celebrity role models. They are bombarded with images and sounds dripping with sexual innuendos and sometimes-blatant encouragement of adolescent sex. It is almost impossible to believe that any teen has not become sexually active after their constant exposure to the sex-craved American entertainment system. These are some of the reasons…
