Yes I learned that throughout history the way warrior societies have been successful in both offensive and defensive situations is through their numbers. When a societies warriors function as one unit and not worry so much about the individual fight it gave them war superiority. When societes started to realize the affects of courage, cooperation and acknowledging the strength of the group over that of just an individual warrior it allowed the native to survive.
