P: Today I’ll be interviewing this samurai about his daily life in medieval Japan.
P: So Mario Yakamori What weapons did you use in battle?
J: There were 2 main weapons used in battle, a long 24 inch sword called a Katana and a much smaller one called a Wakizashi.
P: Do you have any free time with yourself back home?
J: No, not really because I spent most of my days meditating and preparing for battle.
P: Following the code of Bushido ‘the way of the warrior” what happens to a samurai when they lose a battle?
J: A samurai commits suicide because of shame if he or she has lost a battle.
P: That’s pretty harsh!
J: No not necessarily because it’s the code of honor and self respect.
P: Okay then, how long have you been a samurai?
J: I have probably been a samurai for about 10 years in the past time.
P: Mario Yakamori, can you show me a striking position P: Impressive, how long id it take you to master that?
J: Not long
P: Who was your child hood master?
J: His name was chicho, he did not only teach me how to become a warrior but also a better human being
P: How does practicing Zen Buddhism affect you?
J: It helps me understand the nature of life
P: What clan are you from?
J: I am from the Minimoto Clan
P: is it true that you were once defeated by the taira clan
J: Yes but we struck back and defeated them once in for all
P: what role do you pay in the samurai class?
J: I am a general which means I plan attacks and is in charge
P: And our last question for the night is, what is the most annoyingness thing of being a samurai?
J : defiantly waking up at 3 in the morning
