One of the reasons discussed by historians of the fall of the Empire was the invasion of the Barbarian tribes. Rome had allied with the German tribes for lots of years, but in the 300’s the barbarian tribes invaded the borders of the Empire. The Barbarians successfully won the battle and after that, they spent several years under threat. The German leader overthrew the current Emperor of the year and from there, there was no Roman Emperor who could lead and rule again. That is why the year 476 is cited as a year where the Western Empire came to an end.

The ones that I think that play the most important role are military overspending that lead into economic troubles and inflation, and also the political instability and corruption in the government. The reason that I think those are the more important is because of the bad way that the Empire was handled. The overspending leads to trouble and the corruption will always go to the light and haunt down the people. A civilization can see what is going on and can be in disagreement with the government. Once this happens, the whole Empire start crumbling down because is like turning down a system and the foundation of a place.
