Were You There When They Crucified The Moles
When I was younger, I went to a small primary school in a minuscle village in England. It was one of the best schools I have ever gone to. All the teachers and students knew each other, so it was easy to make friends.Even though I loved the school very much, I had a couple of ecscapades. My two best friends and I thought ourselves to be rebels back then. One time, we were forced to stand outside the headmistress' office for the whole day because we rebelled against the killing of moles that was happening in our school field. We sang a song of our creation, called “Were You There When They Crucified the Moles”, which was based off a song about Jesus that we sung as a school during assembly.

My proudest, most memorable moment that happened to me during my primary school days was during my last year at that school. I was about ten years old. I still remember to this day the injustice I felt when it happened. During the break, the school bully, a repulsive, vile, sleazy boy a year younger than me hit one of my good friends, Lottie, with a sharp rock. He threw it into the air and it somehow managed to make Lotties leg bleed. Lottie was quite tough, but she started crying (perhaps from the shock) and she was ushered inside by one of my best friends. However, The school bully, Owen, wasn't shouted at by any teacher. The situation wasn't seen by anyone.

At the time I was pretty young, just finished the third grade at St. Henry School and I was feeling comfortable. But sometimes I will soon find out, is not always a good thing. At this time I was living in very green and warm Nashville, Tennessee. It was the beginning of August and it was almost time to head back to school. But at that point school sat in the very back of my mind as I was totally focused on trying to have the best time before summer ended. School hadn’t really been said between my mom which was kinda weird because normally we were on the…

Everyone is bullied at some point, but the bullying August went through was cruel. It began with calling him names, such as “monster”, “rat boy”, “freak”(p.139), and so on. It advanced to Julian leaving notes in August and his friend’s, Jack Will, lockers. At the end of the year, Mr. Tushman, the middle school director, had told him he “wished he and Jack would have came to him about the notes”(p.473). Even though teachers are supposed to be mature, it doesn’t mean they always act that way. They didn’t mean to be rude, and August knew that, but it bothered him even when they would stare or hesitate for “a millionth of a second”(p.75). Bullying like this, especially for kid as young as August, can…

I started my education at St. Mary Basha Catholic School at age 6 in 2003. I remember learning how to count and making friends. In kindergarten and first grade my best friend was Bo. Bo and I would hang out at recess and at lunch, sometimes we would hang out outside of school as well. Bo left the school after first grade and I made a new best friend for the next three years named Mitchell. We would have BB gun wars in the park by his house and when he came to mine we would go swimming. I remember a lot of the kids from St. Mary's because it was a small school and everyone new each other, however I decided to move to a public school after fourth grade.…

Not everyone is at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, although some are more than others. Some people like the Nurse, turn against Romeo & Juliet, even though she tried to help them get together in the beginning. Others, like Juliet’s parents, Lord & Lady Capulet, are blind to what’s going around them, and their daughter’s emotions, while also believing in stupid ideologies. Then comes good old Fate, which no one can do anything to stop, and could have been nicer. Fate, Lord, Lady Capulet, & the Nurse, are all more at fault than the others for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.…

Well, as fate would have it, Nick ran into me. The momentum he had on impact, caused me to fall forward, right into a brick wall. I remember the pain running through my arms and face, but nothing hurt as badly as my lip. My first grade teacher came out, and she helped me to the nurse. The nurse called my mother, and told her that I had to go to the hospital. Before my mother got to the school, although she was driving pretty fast, I got to look in the mirror. My upper lip was split open, and did not look pretty. It was bleeding excessively when my mother got to the school. She quickly got me into the car, and we drove off.…

10 years old and little did I know I would experience an incident that would take a toll on my life forever. Walking around Six Flags with my family, my sister and I were horse playing- you know, as girls do- and I saw my chance to pounce. I took it and ran with the "secret" attack that obviously would have been seen miles away. But suddenly, right in the middle of my attack, I felt this tearing, bone cracking…

From kindergarten to the 6th grade I went to a private Catholic School in Rancho Cucamonga called Sacred Heart Parish School. The school was complete hell, the teachers were unreasonable and a unrealistic expectation for children at that age. The school was very small and consisted of only 300 students for grades K through 12 making the group of students very close knit. There were some hinders to this, but I created life long relationships and an array of beautiful memories. While that was a pleasing part to the school, it was not enough to keep me there.…

The play focuses on romantic love, specifically the intense passion that springs up at first sight between Romeo and Juliet and the deaths of the two characters because of their eternal love for each other. While there could be various reasons for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, it is obvious that both the two households and significantly Old Capulet play the greatest roles in the tragedy due to their ancient family feud and Capulet’s overwhelming authority over his daughter, Juliet.…

It was the craziest out of all of them. This was the year that we had a new girl come to school, her name was Kirsten. It was the fourth day of school and she was doing fine, then everyone started to hate her, and then would be really mean. She seemed to be cool, I don't know why people didn't like her. Me and my best friend were called into the office and asked to be friends with her, and tell them what the other people are doing her, like being mean or talking bad about her. The experience was the worst at first because if you're friends with her you were cool or talk to. That was hard for me because I have a lot of friends at St. Peters, and I didn't want to not be their friend, but now that I think about it they weren't real friends. So I made the choice to be friends with her and not listen to everyone…

It was a normal September morning. I was in my second grade class with my favorite teacher Mrs. McClellan. We had just arrived to school and put our backpacks in the closet. We had already been through the normal announcement process and said “The Pledge of Allegiance.” My teacher wanted us to clean our desks with shaving cream, so my classmates and I were spraying shaving cream all over the desks and playing around when our class phone rang. My teacher answered the phone and began to shake. She dropped the phone suddenly and fell to her knees and began to cry. All I remember seeing after that was our principle and other teachers scrambling to get all of us out of school and on to the buses as quickly as possible.…
