What Caused World War II?

World War II was a war that took a lasting toll on the world, lasting from about 1931-1945. The Holocaust, the Rape of Nanjing, Nazis, the Pearl Harbor attack, and dropping an atomic bomb are major a few major events during World War II. During this war, there are many underlying factors similar to the first world war, for example, there were new alliances formed and the war was an arms race. World War II can be connected to some of the worst times in history as people developed devastating weapons to do as much damage as possible. Before World War II officially started, several events stirred tensions that sparked the war.
Leading up to the war, Germany, Italy, and Japan conquered other countries as the world was distracted by the Great Depression. The Jews were “impairing” that master race, so Hitler gave all Jews an opportunity to emigrate to another country, but a problem was that other countries limited the number of refugees and most of Europe was controlled by Germany. Next, Hitler started separating the Jews into ghettos, then starts to wipe out all Jews, which was genocide. Nazis and Soviets formed killing squads, mass murdering many people. Jews were put in concentration camps, also called death camps. The weak were killed first, often the elderly, sick, women, and children.
