When practicing these values I look up to those individuals would have served in a larger scale. The individual that I admire and who I think embodies these values the most is Margaret Thatcher. Thatcher was the first and longest serving British Prime Minister of the 20th century. Her term in office was noble and was always in the best interest of the British citizens. While in her position, she lead with integrity, demonstrated her character, and maintained her ethics while leading. Overcoming obstacles and becoming the first woman Prime Minister shows us that she is an inspiration to not only me, but a variety of individuals across the world. The motives of the individual depends on where the direction of their actions will guide a movement. The actions of one person is truly only effective if the person can influence those around them. With the support of the public, any individual can make a huge impact. On a college campus, one person can create a movement where it can create a great number of traction. For example, PSA (preventing sexual assault) created a UMD Slut Walk where individuals who support spreading awareness for sexual assault on campus rally together and march around campus. This event was created from one individual who was a survivor of sexual assault and wanted to bring an event to UMD to help bring awareness and give an outlet to other survivors of sexual assault. Even though this event positively impacted the community, other events can be deemed to be dangerous or negatively impact the community. This is where the voice of justice comes in, their job is to ensure that the actions of the individual does not turn into malicious actions. Monitoring their actions and affirming that it does not break any preset rules or the liberties of other individuals is the job of the those voices of
