In fact nowadays young people are conscientious and carry about important issues. They worry about the future of National Health Service, crime and schools, not trendy ‘’youth’’ issues such as legalizing soft drugs. They are generally happy with their lives and optimistic about their futures. Moreover, young people feel that educational and job opportunities are better for them today than for the previous generation. In their political outlook, they are the most tolerant of any generation on social issues such as immigration, race and homosexuality. One of the most important issue young people care about is their future career. These days they are put under the pressure to get ahead in the rat race. Many students start doing their own business, when they are in university. Some young people deal with economics. They are going into finance companies. I think that young people are rather different as someone has clear career plans, when others don’t know what they want to do in the future. Rising generation worry about finding a secure, decent and well-paid job with prospects of promotion. Bills, debt and the cost of living are one of the top priorities. The problem of housing is crucial for young people. All people want to have their own flat, but nowadays the cost of living is very high. Youth know that money doesn’t grow on trees, and in order to buy a flat, they have to take out a mortgage. So it is very difficult to pay off it and because of it many young people are heavily in dept. Young people are interested in politics, they want to improve public safety, financial aid, education and national health system, but it is frustrating, because they don’t feel they can really make a difference.
