What Does A Sign Really Mean?
1. A sign is something that says exactly what it is. It doesn't have symbolic meaning because the sign explains itself. A symbol has meaning behind it. It doesn't exactly explain what it means. People have to know the background of the symbol or what it stands for to understand the meaning. Both could be pictures, but the interpretation is different between the two. An example of a sign is a stop sign because it says exactly what it means. An example of a symbol is the Holy Cross. It could look like two pieces of wood crossed, but to Catholics it stands for their faith and reasoning behind why Jesus Christ died for us.

The sheik is important because he is who Hub had to fight to win Jasmine over. His grandson also comes back at the end. That proves to Walter that the stories about fighting were real.
D. The lion was important to the story because he wan the first thing that Walter got from his uncles. His uncles finally gave him something to take care of and he needed to show responsibility. The lion also attacked Mae's boyfriend. By her attacking the boyfriend, she saved Walter from being beaten up.
4. "Sometimes it doesn't matter if it's true" means that just because something may not be 100% true, doesn't mean that you can't believe in it. One thing he talks about is that people are mostly good. People have to believe that other people are mostly good and have a positive attitude. He also said that power and money mean nothing. This is important to stay grounded and believe in deeper things than power and money. The third thing he said was true love never dies. He says these are important to remember because they are things worth believing in.
5. From this movie, I will remember how grounded the uncles stayed. They has so much money but they never wanted to be greedy or spend it all. They didn't think it mattered a whole
