Other people can learn many things from my person of honor. Some of the things that can learn are to work for your money and not take other people’s money like it was your own. You could learn this off of my grandpa Lloyd because he was a hard worker until he was 70 years old and he never asked for anything from anybody, even if times were tough. Another thing other people can learn from my grandpa was that if you work hard it will pay off. You could learn this from my grandpa because he worked 7 days a week for a long time and had everything paid off so he was never in debt. I have learned many things from my grandpa. Some of the things are not being serious all the time, and always have fun. This was important to me it makes me who I am today. This was important to me because I do exactly what he says now and he was my hero. This is why I chose my grandpa as my honorable person.…

Ethics, Morality, and Integrity all have some of the same elements that defines a person character. Being trustworthy leads to other elements of integrity. Such as, helping to better the community and respecting authority as a Parole Officer shows honesty. Being fair is another element which shows integrity. How can you be a Parole Officer, but doesn`t treat everyone equally? Third, being able to take responsibility for your own actions and personal growth as a Parole Officer shows integrity, as well. If you basically blame all of your failures and lack of progress on others around you then that shows your character and you cannot exhibit integrity with others and your career if you cannot be honest to yourself. Based on my Ethics Awareness Profile results, my Ethical Profile is most closely aligned with the character while least closely aligned with the equity. My ethical perspective is leaning towards on what it is good to be rather than what it is good to do. I believe that ethics should focus on ways to help people achieve moral excellence. When asked to judge whether an individual’s actions are ethical, I look beyond the actions to examine the individual’s character. Uprightness and integrity are key factors in my assessment. I look for evidence of virtue in people, including such traits as honor, justice, and benevolence, believing that a virtue is not just an abstract principle. Rather, virtue is reflected in the quality of an individual’s character, and character is more important than an individual’s actions. In my opinion, mere compliance with rules, no matter how well intentioned, does not make anyone an ethical person without being accompanied by consistent voluntary striving to be a morally good person.…

Ever since the existence of man, mankind has tried to define what a good person is. The greatest philosophers and the most influential people in history have tried to lead lives and be an example of a life worth living. My favorite and most influential political figure that I know and have studied is Nelson Mandela. His life experiences have taught me that I have been given a life to lead not for oneself, but for others and that to lead that life one must understand what is most important and work every day to achieve such standings. However, to interpret that it is what a good person does or is, is to suggest that no one else can have another claim or else I am to judge that person as not as good. What is most important in life? How do we attain what we think is most important in life?…
