What Does Solidarity Mean
Solidarity is a virtue of responsibility that we must follow and understand.We must know that we are all brothers and sisters which means we should respect each other.All of our actions have consequences that affect others and influence others .As eighth graders we should become more familiar and start to understand that as we are becoming young adults. Solidarity is a virtue of responsibility that calls us to understand and recognize that we are all one human family and that the decisions that we make have consequences(whether right or wrong) that reach around the world.That means that the actions of one person affect everyone and we are called to recognize that we are all one human family.With the virtue of solidarity we have

Did you know that 6,346 families were prevented from becoming homeless and 6,221 individuals were provided with emergency overnight shelter.The agency follows solidarity by helping others and recognizing that we are all a family. They help others physically which had a good impact on society, however, they also help people with their spiritual needs.They helped get 21,410 individuals were nagee in counseling and 6,349 families were supported to stay together.Their agencies help those with mental disabilities, abused and neglected children and much more.As a result, 8,837, teenagers and adults were treated for substance abuse and 8,209 visually and hearing impaired individuals were participating in adaptive training.As you can see Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of New York helps others physically and spiritually.
