What I Learned About The Holocaust

My definition of the Holocaust was the Nazi attempt to exterminate the Jewish population in Germany and around Europe. Not only Jews but the poor, mentally ill, homosexualls, the dissabled, Gypsies, and political prisoners were targeted as well and sent to places called concentration camps. In these camps the Jews were forced to work for the Germans to aid the war effort in Nazi germany. Millions of mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters were robbed of their freedom and forced to work against their will. The ones that couldn't work and weren't of any use, whether it was because they were too young, too old, or disabled were sent to death camps along with gays and Gypsies.
