The novel, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, introduces the reader to a boy who lives a fulfilling life by achieving his Personal Legend. The boy’s dream was to travel the world and find the treasure he kept dreaming about. For this reason, he spends all his gold and made many sacrifices in order to accomplish his Personal Legend. A Personal Legend is a spiritual calling that awakens a deep desire where one must risk everything they have to acquire.
