This article is based around equality for indigenous people in the Australian constitution. It explains the ‘bleakness’ of the Australian constitution (Charlesworth, H, Durbach, A pg. 68, 2011), Australia’s international obligations, constitutional models and much more. This article clearly is writing from the side of bringing equality to the indigenous people, hence the title. Specifically, it identifies some key aspects that are incorrect or are not as in-depth detail wise as they should be; relating to the concepts of equality and no-discrimination between people. It also covers potential amendments to be made to the constitution.
Constitutional models are another topic discussed.
