They keep an eye on the growing population of a species and the amount of permits for a species without these Brave officers people would overrun the woods all year long harvesting whatever they please and leaving the species unable to keep a steady reproduction that other generations need. I have chosen to become one of these officers so I can fight for the animals and stop the poachers who hunt them. I also want to keep people safe and educate them on the local wildlife and the Beloved species they pursue. Hunting and fishing are the two things I love to do most and I think those are the things other people love too,and they want those activities to stay around for as long as possible. This is a huge part in some people's lives. It gets some people closer to god and they are in extreme joy when …show more content…
hunting. Tons of people get into the sport every year and someone needs to give them the right information so they succeed in the field and harvest the buck of their dreams. I would also work in the surrounding lakes around my area, making sure people have lifejackets and are not breaking any rules that could possibly endanger their life of someone else's.
I will make sure that people are not driving a marine vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or reckless driving while on the water. They also can't catch an illegal amount or size of a certain fish. There are bag limits for a game fish, If their fish are under the legal length or they are over the legal amount they will be charged for every fish over the limit. This is critical for the future progress of the fish and the growth of the population. We might help in search and rescue diving missions if you have the proper training and pass a diving
class.
Many conservation officers spend their time at outdoor events, lectures, or fishing tournaments. Giving the public the proper rules and answering any questions they have. At outdoor events people often ask when hunting dates are, how to register a watercraft, rules on atv’s, etc. I have talked to many conservation officers about their careers and the local wildlife populations. They are really friendly and answer any questions you have. They are there to help you because they don't want you to make any mistakes in the field everything needs to be clear so you make no mistakes. They hold speaking events and you can go learn about the new book they come out with every year about all the new additions and changed laws for the new season. I have the pleasure of meeting these officers all the time because they stop me at different lakes asking for my fishing license and other questions. I asked them about their profession and where they went to school so I can have an idea of where to get started. We Talk for a good hour about fishing stories and the funny people they deal with on a daily basis.
Even though people have their different opinions about law enforcement personnel. Those brave men and women are putting their lives on the line to protect everyone. That's why I want to be one of these officers; I want to put my life on the line to serve and protect and help anyone in a time of need from helping a broken bone to saving a life. I want to be one of these brave conservation officers.
