The codes tell how they must remain professional on the job as well as off the job. Now there really is not a difference in the three codes because all three deals with the officer and the public. They also tell that the officer cannot and shall not receive any form of favors from the public because it could be considered to a violation of their office.
After discussing my three example I would adopt the on that states they must at all-time uphold the law with dignity and respect. This is very important to me because I feel that a person in the law enforcement community is someone who carries out the law. I feel that if you can’t uphold the law than you should not be in your position. Therefore, someone else should be hired that will do the job according to the standards of the job and its code of ethics.
I don’t feel that I would take any elements from any of them. I would discuss them as they are and ensure that everyone understood them clearly. Now I feel by doing this everyone would know exactly what their job requirement is and how they should always conduct
