Regulating changes in the health care field can be a difficult task, government agencies need to update health care businesses every time that there is a change in regulations and/or standards. In order to maintain order and a set of standards around quality for the health industry licensure and accreditation have been established. Every health care business that requires licensure or accreditations is accountable for their actions. Accountability is the procedure and process by which one party provides a justification and is held responsible for its actions by another party who has an interest in their action (Ramson, 2008). However, accreditations and licensures have disadvantages and benefits. If the organization uses these resources accordingly
