This is a minor representation of the political things that are going to go on in the play. The two households are the Capulets and the Montagues, which are both wealthy and prideful. The civil blood is a translation to the civilians, and the blood is the fighting between the Montague and Capulet families. The Capulet family and the Montague family are both looking for political gain, as is the case with most wealthy families. The hatred between the two families is undeniable, as anytime they see each other they are ready to kill the other.
